Light therapy lamps

Well, the days are getting much shorter, up here in the Great White North.

I was thinking that a light therapy lamp might help me (and other members of my family) cope with S.A.D.

There are so many on the market, varying widely in price, size and intensity. Can anyone recommend an effective one, that won't break the bank.

Thanks!

There are some relatively inexpensive lamps.
Make sure that they have 10,000 Lux.
They work best when you can position them slightly ABOVE the eyes for about 15 minutes in the morning.
Good luck.

I have used and still use this visor, for my mild SAD.
It has been very helpful and only needs about a 1/2 hr a day in the early morning.

I have a thread about this from several years ago, when I first started with this. I keep mine plugged into charge, and it still works well.
