Swelling
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=B4rWSlSy_OY
The above is a link to The Bowen Technique to remove excess fluid. I bought the washing soda crystals mentioned in the video from Amazon. I was amazed how much fluid was drawn off my huge ankle the first time I used this procedure, the bandana I used to hold the crystals was saturated. I believe that this technique helped my overwhelmed lymph system start to work again. I still get swelling, but nothing like I had. |
Thank you for posting this info. I'm going to get that washing crystal stuff too. Just love amazon. They have whatever you need and within a couple days its on my doorstep! Whaa-hoo! I wonder if i can put compresses all over my body because sometimes it feels like i am swelling everywhere like inside my abdomen, arm muscles, hips, feet. I am going to try this for my left elbow thats been hurting for months. Thank you.

Happy girl,
I felt like a complete idiot when I ordered the crystals, but I figured that if they did not work I could use them for laundry. Fortunately, they worked for me. According to the Bowen site you should not use the crystals more than 3x a week. |

The above article explains in detail how to use the washing soda to draw off excess fluid. |
I'm not seeing the brand suggested on Amazon, called Lectric. Are these actually the same thing as people use in their water softening systems? I've had enlarged lymph nodes ever since the RSD/CRPS started.

These are the ones I purchased, but it looks like they are not available.
http://www.amazon.com/Sodium-Carbona...+soda+crystals I originally was going to make my own, but I was in too much pain. Another thought-check to see if there is a Bowen practitioner in your area-they sometimes buy the crystals in bulk to re-sell. |
