Facial tremors, part of essential tremor?

Hi,

I am 36 and have mild tremor in my hands/legs and might have essential tremor. In addition I have tremors in my eyelids (very visible when 1 eye is closed), the corners of my mouth (when I smile), the cheeks (when I wrinkle my nose), the tongue and the lips (when I open my mouth). I have continuous feelings of movement/tremor around my eyes, extending towards the ears. Sometimes the tremor around the eyes becomes more visible, e.g. it looks as if the area below the eye or an eyebrow is shaking. I have seen a neurologist, who was of very little help and simply dismissed me with: "you are not going to die of the tremor, go home and live with it". I was given propanolol by a general doctor - I feel the medicine has helped the tremor in my hands/fingers, but not the visible tremor in the face.
I wonder if someone here has similar facial issues? Could this be part of essential tremor? Or do I have something else?

Kat
