Need a Dr.
 

I have had RSD since 1973 on the lower rt. part of my body. It was in remission for 30 years. In 2009 I was injured and then it spread to the upper right part. At that time I went to see Dr. Masood Hashmi in Florida. (I am from Montgomery, Alabama) he gave my ortho doctor here some ideas to try. I got some better....right now I am experiencing some new pain in my left side. I called down to Florida, and he is no longer there. He is in Arizona. Does anyone know a Dr. someplace closer...perhaps Atlanta or somewhere in Alabama?

Hi jahunt62 and welcome to this forum. I am sorry to hear that your previous doctor that you have trusted through the years has moved beyond your reach. I do have a list of doctors from all the states that are known to have treated patients with RSD/CRPS at some point or another. I do not know however, if any of them are any good, or not, at keeping up to date, are still practicing, are accepting new patients, and able to treat us properly. Since this list is too large to attach, even as a zip file, and I do not remember where it actually came from, I am listing the ones from both AL and GA for you. I ask that you please contact your GP as well. I have found that my pain management doctor is not listed on here but has treated several patients with RSD/CRPS and keeps up to date with current treatment plans. Best of luck on finding a new doctor. I hope that someone else from your area will be able to say whether or not they have had any experience with any of these that I have listed here, or any other doctors that they would recommend.
