Tramadol

I have been taking 50 mg at night but it doesn't seem to help anymore for pain. Has anyone gone up to 100 mg at one time? I have oxycodone I was prescribed but I try not to take it. The pain only seems to be there when I wear shoes and at night when I'm trying to relax.

100 mg is what I take for tramadol, 2 x 50 mg. It helps, but unless you are getting a dramatically better result than me I would not expect the faucet of pain and discomfort to be shut off, just lessened.

That being said, the reduction is worthwhile to me.

I would have to agree. I take 50mg of Tramadol in the AM as soon as I get up, and on days where my wife & I go places, I'll take 100mg instead. Not a major improvement, but noticeable. I was wondering if 50mg of Tramadol was still working for me, so didn't take it one recent morning when I had to have blood work done. I then remembered how it takes away my foot tingling and therefore helps me with my balance by ridding me of the distraction.
