Symptoms post Mestinon

Can someone tell me if they find that Mestinon helps mainly with stiffness/rigidity? I have been taking it for close to 6 weeks and am finding help in that regard. Currently taking 30 mg 4 times/day and to increase to 60 mg 4 times per day next week. However,I have noted that I continue to have difficulty getting a good breath quite often(esp with activity, laughter or much talking), fatigue easily with any type of activity, muscle heaviness with some tenderness and still have eyelid drooping at times...I am currently only a suspected MG client and have an inexperienced MG doc...thanks

I must say that I have never had any stiffness/rigidity. If you have a good MG doc, then go back to them and ask the questions.

Mestinon has helped me with getting a good breath (esp with activity or much talking), and reduced fatigue with or without any type of activity.

However any improvement that I have experienced has only lasted 4 or 5 months, before I have had to increase the dose. I am now on 90 x 6 and have pretty much the same problems as I had when this started 2 years ago.
