Neuro took me off of steriods - Dystonia
 

Got diagnosed as having a dystonic drug reaction not too long ago at the ER. Went back to my neurologist and she has taken me off the steroids the ER prescribed. She also ordered magnesium and calcium blood tests.


Without the steroids I've been getting stuck all day. Normally I would call the doctor but it is the weekend.


I have 1x 10mg prednisone, half my daily dose. I took the other half earlier today to help with the seizing. It sort of has.



I suppose my question is how long should I wait until taking the other 10mg's? Is there anything I can do to help with the pain and soreness until I can get back to my neurologist?
