Bew member with nerve pain

Hi All, I am new to this site. I hope it will shed some light and give me some ideas.

I have nerve pain due to an injury to my foot. I have been to numerous doctors (foot and pain drs). I am open to trying new things.

Has anyone heard of radio ablation and the success rate?

I have tried shots, topical meds, Lyrica, gabaten, Cymbalta, adavil, etc.

Sometimes something will work for a short time and then it wont.

Thanks to all:grouphug:

Hi, I ended up with Femoral Nerve Damage from hip replacement in 2010 and I lived with burn/tingle in my thigh for 5 yrs. A naturopath gave me 4 suggestions on nerve pain and I started with two of them: Inosine and Sphingolin, and get mine from pureformulas.com.

The nerve burn is about gone after 3 months on these 2.

I am primarily into alternative/complimentary medicine so have never used the meds you mentioned, except I do use advil for general body pain due to arthritis and hip damage.

I take 50mg P6 in the P5P form daily. This is how I work with my issues. Often wish I had not done the hip replacement....I have more negative issues than before.

Such is life, we take our chances and HOPE for the best. C

Hello doodles,
Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

There are posts regarding radio ablation in many different forums. The best way to find them is to use the Forum Search Feature below. Check for Posts rather than threads and that will bring up more.
