No diagnosis and no relief for left sided weakness

Hi all,

I am a 35 year old professional desperate for answers. I came here seeking help, knowledge and advice. I have been to several neurologists at Kaiser and they can't seem to figure out what is wrong with me. My symptoms are as follows:

-Left sided fatigue (Ie: walking up a hill and my left leg will start to "feel the burn" way sooner than my right leg. Same for my arm.)
-Left sided decreased sensation (like a deep numbness but surface touch is still there. This appears to be marked by an imaginary line down the center of my body, to include my face.)
-Muscle "twitches" more prevalent on left side
-Mid back soreness in left side (which I am guessing is from the muscles fatiguing from holding my trunk upright)
-Favoring placing weight on my right leg when standing or leaning against a wall so no weight is bore on my left side)
-Strength is not affected (but stamina on my left side sucks) when a grip strength test was done. I am a lefty though.

I have had two Nerve conduction studies on my upper left extremity and MRI of my brain, neck and shoulder that were all normal. They assure me I dont have MS but as for any other conditions they have ruled out, I'm not sure.

Does anyone have anything similar? What is this and what can be done? Thanks.

I was a nurse before my surgery. Have they looked closely at your MRI of your brain? Ask them to look to see if there is a colloidal cyst in the third ventricle! Trust me I went to Doctors for 5 years and it was finally found by a technician because she had just came back from a symposium on colloidal cysts. Otherwise, it would have never been found. Yours may be more to the right ventricle being you are having issues with your left side.

Please let us know what they find!

Thanks for the suggestion. I did a little research on these cysts and I don't seem to match any of the common symptoms. I will contact my neurologist and ask him to look at the MRI again though. I'm so desperate at this point I will try anything!
