So yesterday I had my neck evaluated by a chiro
And he went through my whole spine and neck with a machine which I'm not sure what it is called, and found out that my C4 and C1 are badly inflammated while C2 has some aswell.
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...22#post1137922 Here's my post explaining that the first doctor I ever saw didn't report it as a concussion. She said that it was and I quote "Soft tissue injury with head contusion". So can this mean that I never in fact recieved a concussion and the symptoms that I'm still suffering from to this day (albeit much less than before) is infact the inflammation causing me problems? I went for the evaluation after reading this article for those who are interested: http://www.buffalo.edu/news/releases/2014/07/040.html |
A concussion is determined by a cluster of symptoms. Many of those symptoms can also be caused by an upper neck injury. But, that first doctor's diagnosis of "Soft tissue injury with head contusion" does not exclude a concussion. A head contusion would include a brain bruise.
What symptoms are you still experiencing ? |
