1.5 years after PCS, another concussion.

Hi all,

About a year and a half ago I suffered a concussion that had me with PCS for around 6-7 months with a full recovery (or so I thought). Now about 3 weeks ago, I got bumped in the head by a shoulder playing basketball. I have been hit like that many times since the concussion, so I just kept playing. I didn't feel sick or anything, but then took two mid-terms the next day and after that felt the PCS symptoms immediately. I took the normal concussion precautions after, however, experienced no improvement. Could this just be PTSD? or is this real?

Thanks

You haven't told us enough about your symptoms for anyone to make a comment. You may have just put out too much effort with the mid-terms.

I don't see any reason to think PTSD.

What kind of a final ? A kick boxing class ?

Stress from test taking is not a concussion. It is called over-attending and can only cause a relapse. It is an anxiety like reaction as the brain becomes overwhelmed with stimulation and stress.
