Headache after extraction of molar?

Just wondering if anyone has had headaches after extraction of a tooth? It has only been 3 days, but I thought I would be feeling better by now. I have had a terrible headache every day.

Which part of the head the headache is on? Or is it the whole head? Does it stop with paracetamol?
This could be an important clue to see if it is related to the extraction or to any infection you might have had in that tooth or around the socket.

I also have had a headache. I had my teeth pulled Monday and the headaches started today along with itching in my gums on the left side.
