yesterday i had something really nice happen

i think one of the kitty cats stepped on the power strip and i tried to figure out which power strip. i really messed up and wound up turning off my computer, lamp and telephone. i spent an hour trying to figure out what i had done. then i went to the senior center really agitated. I know a guy named peter who usually comes to the center every friday. he lives on the upper west sideI have never sat next to him before. we were talking and i mentioned my power strips problem. he offered to come over and see what he could do. he didn't mind that my apartment was messy even though i have maria come twice a week. anyways within five or ten minutes he fixed it. I offered him money but he refused. I thought the whole thing was a miracle.

He seemed like the sort of person who would like to be helpful. He helps Mike a lot. I forgot to mention he is wearing a trump hat. He is extremely bright and was a math major. He listens to national public radio and then the bbc. He doesn't own a tv. He was very nice about finding out that i was bipolar and he told me he had hoarding tendencies. a really nice guy.

I wonder if a lot of people have hoarding tendencies.

Donald Trump has the cheapest looking hat (on purpose apparently)

Some wondered why a man worth more than TEN BILLION DOLLARS chose a hat that looked to cost about $5.99.
Many others, meanwhile, wondered where they could buy one for themselves.

the food at the senior center is really good...much better than the one near him. I think he goes to the center on friday because they have a current events program. I have to get the numbers again for the npr with the bbc because most of the time i can't fall asleep til late and it sounds much better than cnn.
