3D Movie Theatre Experience
Hello There,
Anyone have experience watching a 3-D movie in theatres? Either with or without the glasses? I am thinking the 3-D might be a bit much for me, so I thought maybe I could skip out on the 3-D glasses. But then doing a bit of reading it seems that a movie designed to be in 3-D may look a bit blurry/out of focus in spots without the glasses on. It's been almost 5 years since my concussion. I haven't been to a movie theatre since before the concussion. I usually can get through a movie on a smaller screen at home, though will often take breaks part way through. The film I am thinking of seeing is The Peanuts movie. Thanks for the input friends. :) |
I would suggest you try a non-3D movie first. Take ear plugs. 3D sound can be intense.
3D without the glasses will look blurry. Each color filtered image is offset from the other. With glasses 3D would be easier to process than without although still more difficult to process that a standard 2D as you brain stitches the 2 images together. Without the glasses, your brain will struggle to try to make the two images make sense. |
3D movies are quite confusing without the glasses, but you could get glasses that converts 3D-movies to 2D. You just have to buy them online beforehand. I think it's pretty cool! :)
