i ask prayers for my sister

forty seven
no children
is in surgery as i write
a complete hysterectomy
the culprit
ovarian cyst
she has been through much
in life
including disappointments
a beautiful spirit
i was the one who raised her
my responsibility when she was born
came far in life
was nine when my father killed himself
she remembers so much of that day
Father watch over her
love
me

Dear eva,

The waiting for news must be agonising. I hope you have heard by now, or at least will in the coming hours.

Thoughts and prayers.

Dave.
