Electric shock sensation?
 

What could cause the following symptom?:

Strong electric shock feeling in a small area on my right heel (nearest to the calcaneal nerve branch - see picture). Felt only when walking, not at rest.

The feeling is pulse like, not continuous. As I walk I get jolts of electric like pulses only in that area.

Any injury to the area, a bump or , maybe bone spurs?
Have you had it X rayed to check for bone issue?

Do you have any spine issues that might be related to this pain?
Any MRI report?
But usually would only be a factor if a nerve is affected at spinal level.

If nothing shows up as a cause , perhaps a expert chiropractor evaluation? (maybe one with low level laser)

My chiro really helped a lot when I had a Plantar fasciitis problem.
He did foot/ankle adjustments, massage & some laser treatments..

My neurologist says it would be impossible for the source to come from the spine or sacral area due to the remote location and presentation of the sysmptom.

What area of the spine would you think would cause electric shocks to the calcaneal nearve branch? S2? What about cord impingement in the neck?
