Electric shock sensation?
What could cause the following symptom?:
Strong electric shock feeling in a small area on my right heel (nearest to the calcaneal nerve branch - see picture). Felt only when walking, not at rest. The feeling is pulse like, not continuous. As I walk I get jolts of electric like pulses only in that area. Yellow area on photo shows where symptom is located. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...r.png~original |
Any injury to the area, a bump or , maybe bone spurs?
Have you had it X rayed to check for bone issue? Do you have any spine issues that might be related to this pain? Any MRI report? But usually would only be a factor if a nerve is affected at spinal level. If nothing shows up as a cause , perhaps a expert chiropractor evaluation? (maybe one with low level laser) My chiro really helped a lot when I had a Plantar fasciitis problem. He did foot/ankle adjustments, massage & some laser treatments.. |

What area of the spine would you think would cause electric shocks to the calcaneal nearve branch? S2? What about cord impingement in the neck? |
