Question for the Experts
Hello!
I am turning to the help of others who have been through the same kinds of procedures in hopes of an answer. I had a 7mm supracliniod aneurysm which was treated with two pipeline embolization stents. The procedure was a complete success, as the angiogram done in late November showed. What I cannot seem to get from my doctors now, however, is what I can or cannot DO. For the last year I was restricted in activity because they worried about it. Now I need to trim off the pounds that have lovingly wrapped my torso and heinie, but I can't seem to get advice from my docs! I know that my scuba diving days are over. That's fine. But can I ski? That's exercise at altitude, not the same as just walking or jogging. Can I do wind sprints? Lift weights? How much weight? This is so frustrating. I need to get back in shape, but I really don't want to risk another bubble in the brain. Help! S |
Hello S,
Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups. I'm sorry that I can't offer any advice but I just wanted to let you know that there is an Aneurysm Forum here at NeuroTalk. Perhaps you could try reposting there. I'm sure any members who use that forum will offer any support or information that they can. take care. |
Thank you!
Thanks, I re-posted where you suggested!
