Happy 4th to you too.

We're having a cookout tonight and no doubt fireworks going off for hours.

Our cookouts consist of all of our friends getting together and bringing foods and each bringing fireworks. Last year they filled up 4 card tables and still had that many more. Bill and I left at 2 A. M. and they were still going.
A friend asked me what the neighbors thought about it. I told her they actually joined in. We had people standing out there with us watching the fireworks that we didn't know.

I hope everyone enjoys today.

Like others said, it's a day to make a person proud that they are an American but there is a lot of sadness for what is happening today.

Remembering those in harm's way...

Take a moment to say a prayer for those serving in the armed forces...
