David, probably for the last 15 yrs my sister has been "waiting" for stem cells from her NYC MS doctors, no such luck. She has so declined. We have PRP/Stem Cell MD's here who use these injections in joints. PRP from our platlets and stem cells from marrow. I'd like to do them but price for me is too difficult.

I'm sorry to hear that, Caroline. I almost feel that the slow pace should be criminal. Of course, there are reason for it, safeguards and all, but not always, and often there are political or financial reasons for such things. Regardless, I wish more of the treatments and new drugs we read about could be made available to us. I'd gladly sign a legal waiver.

I would try stem cell too, right now in fact, but I wouldn't be able to afford it either. If I knew it would work, then I'd even take out a loan to do it, but that's just not a reality.

The usa, seems to have much more restrictions on human stem cell research, than other countries, thus, we are likely behind in stem cell research than other countries.
