Question about Neuralgia

I have been diagnosed with Glossopharyngeal neuralgia. Any ways to cope with the pain in the throat? I've been to many doctors and it is like a dead end each time. The pain in my throat is sore, throbbing, excruciating and sometimes just feels off. I've been fatigue also. Doctors say everything is normal. What is this?
