Can a migraine set me back?

I am about three years out from my last major concussion ( a couple minor bumps since then) and just started getting migraine and having visual issues.

Had my first ever migraine a month ago that started with a visual aura. Ever since then , I have head aches almost everyday and eyes hurting, sensitive to light , brain fog and hard to focus. Almost like the migraine gave me another concussion. Prior to this I was doing relatively well for a few months.

I had another MRI done where they did see the some lesions on the brain but nothing that they were alarmed about.

My eyes have been really hurting lately and seem to be getting worse.

I see a Niro- optomologist today for the first time so I am hoping for some answers. Can the migraine really set my symptoms off again?

It depends, it could be just a migraine. It could be because you did something to agitate your injury. An injured brain will never be 100%.
