Dr. Nasir Hague? Endocrinologist or Neuroendocrinolgist?

Has anyone worked with Dr. Nasir Haque in Michigan?

Thanks

It appears Dr Hague is a pediatric endocrinologist in practice for 56 years. That would mean he is in his 70's or 80's by the online info available. Old timers tend to be old school. Concussion related neuro-endocrinology tends to be a new concept more common with researchers or early adopters.

Dr Hague's specialty is diabetes.

Mark-

Also, I heard of Dr. Haque on the brain injury self rehabilitation website that you posted a while ago on the neuroendocrine website. How did you hear of it? Wouldn't you also suspect a physician who is 80 or 81 will likely be retiring soon? Also, do you know personally the nurse Edie who posts or seems to run it? Thanks so much for all your help.

Hi
This is a post from one of your earlier questions..

My daughter saw Dr Friedman at UCLA and he was excellent. She thought that he explained his tests and has been easy to communicate with. Note: we live in Santa Cruz, CA which is about 7 hrs away.

Please feel free to ask more questions,

Was she treated for GH deficiency? Does she still see him? did she do the glucagon stimulation test with him? How is she doing now? did he work with insurance and assist with getting the hormones authorized? Thanks so much for your help and time..

Hi

Dr Friedman ran a lot of tests and to tell you I'm not sure about the exact tests but I will ask to see her tests. It ended up that she had really low ferritin levels. She was eventually treated with an IV (iron). Also he diagnosed with PCOS.

She is still his patient but is not currently seeing him. We had to pay cash and request reimbursement from our insurance-UHC.

Check out his website--she did like him for his analysis.
