Omega 3 Question

Hi,

How much DHA and EPA can you consume per day? I consume around 3 grams of
combined EPA and DHA every day. Is this safe? Is it ok?

Thank you!

[In 2007, the dietitians of North America officially recommended 500 mg per day of EPA+DHA for healthy adults. Previously, the American Heart Association in their deitary guidlines recommended 900 mg per day for those with coronary heart disease.]

I usually take up to 3g daily. Haven't noticed any problems except for some occasional gastrointestinal issues that may be unrelated in origin.

Thanks you, Danny.

I think all neuro talkers should be advised to take the trigricylride formulas instead of the ethyl Esthers. These are much better absorbed and comparably priced.
