payee: make myself own payee: chance of review ?
if i make myself my own payee, whats the chance they will review my case ? get ssdi for mental health, been on ssdi since 1998, 63 yrs old, always seen psychiatrist and taking medication; thanks

yes
in my opinion yes. you were appointed a payee because ssa thought you were too sick to handle your money. now it can be seen that your condition has improved. im not telling you to cheat, if youre getting better ssa needs to know that.

It's not up to you. Your doctor would need to make a recommendation and then SS would evaluate your ability to manage your own money. Could it mean they determine such improvement means you are capable of returning to work? Possibly. Even when you reach retirement age, SS will still want to evaluate your ability to manage your SS benefits.
You can also switch Rep Payees or utilize a service if there is some issue with your current Rep Payee. |

You can also have a review even with a payee. 63 year olds don't get ceased hardly ever. Small percentage. |
