Super Bowl traditions

It started not intentionally, just a chairside snack for the game. Now, all these years later I feel that if this ritual isn't followed, something in the cozmos will never be right again. Ritz crackers-summer sausage,lean-cheddar cheeze medium- original flavor Tobasco sauce. My chair becons me to relax and be thankful that once again I can participate in this most American of days, second only to the 4th of July. Go Panthers, Ken in Texas.

I'll look foward to trying that today along with wings and other appetizers with my beautiful wife. Jim

My tradition is rooting for the Underdog - and being down that the Bears have had another failed Season:(

I also have to fight to keep from napping as the Game runs until after 3am here, sometimes later. It is difficult, doped up with Ketamine, Morphine, Tramadol and Mirtazapine. At least with my satellite tv Hard Drive box I can rewind Live tv if I succumb and miss any vital Plays.

Really hoping for a close, exciting Contest.

Dave.

That's right talk about time zone difference. Have a great day/night hope you are doing well. Any Gametime recipes I should know about ? Jim

Not now I am back on a strict diet, Jim. Just a fat-free yogurt and a cereal bar when the Mirtazapine/Metoclopramide hunger pangs strike overnight. Very boring:(

Dave.

I am disappointed to have to miss this years game, but will hope for a Panthers win as I want to see Cam Newton win it after he turned around last years poor season... Usually a follower of the Saints...

Hi Andy!

How are you? Better after the Norwich result?

Dave.

Commiserations Ken, but Denver simply destroyed Cam Newton.

I do not want to seem over critical, but it seems the standards of performances of both Offences are nowhere near that of Teams of years gone by.

Dave.

I never thought that Denver had enough to stop Carolina. I guess defense can win a game. Ken in Texas.

I think that the performance is still there but the science of the game has gotten much more complicated over the years. Used to be you could get some blocking and run the ball. Nowadays, one in ten running plays gain yards. Coaches run the ball to give themselves time to come up with an appropriate pass play. I can moan about what used to be but that isn't going to bring it back. I paid for my hors-de-overves but will get back on the wagon today. Thanks, Ken in Texas.
