having had flu and now cold started with mild pain in the elbows and knees and slight tingling in the fingers and burning in the calfs doctor said was a nerve reaction to the infection and could last a month give me gabapentin x3 a day 100mg. after 4 days I feel a lot worse I now have burning in my feet and tingling and tingling in my forearms as well as the rest could this be due to high stress ?? as I haveposted before not good with illness makes me very stressed

if possible. Having had the flu and acold after, it may well be a nerve reaction to joint inflammation and will resolve in time. Stressing about it will not help at all. For a time, you need to eat for nutrition. Cut out the junk if you like french fries or onion rings or anything that would be classified as a foodlike substance that has been through many processes. Figure a way to distract your mind from annoying tingles and buring. Yea I know it is easy to say. Good Luck, Ken in Texas.

I had a similar experience bit of stress, got ill, doing a bit too much exercise, now it is everywhere. Just relax and try and get on with things, itll probably settle down within 6 months. Mine did, then i had a bad rxn to diflonac and it went downhill again. The body is a complex thing, it seems best to live simply and try and avoid unnecessary stresses.
