Acdf two level fusion and discectomy

Hey guys I'm almost three most post op two level Acdf fusion with discectomy. I had c3-4 and c4-5 fused. I had to wear a hard plastic neck brace for three weeks full time and then another final 5 weeks just during waking hours.
I have now been out of the brace for four weeks and am having lots of difficulties with pain and getting to sleep.
I have seen a Physio Therapist three times now and have started strengthening exercises. My neck feels very twingy in most directions and gives a sharp pain when moving up and down more so than left and right. My neck is also extremely stiff and almost unmovable in the mornings and at night.
I take 25mgs of lyrica twice a day for only a week now and no noticeable improvements yet. I was supposed to go back to work a month ago but not a chance at this stage.
Having a catchup with the neurosurgeon next Monday and have only had one follow up X-ray.
My condition is degenerative and I am only 39. I have many spinal anomoloies and most of my bones in the neck aren't formed properly.
Anyone experiencing similar things. From what I've read I'm definitely not alone.
Pain is driving me bonkers and would appreciate a chat in this forum as I'm new to this.

Hi, sorry to read your story and what we are going thru. Is it three weeks post op...you don't say in the above. If so, you have a lot of healing to go thru. I live with my kinda nightmare from hip replacement in 2010 at age 72. So I know surgery. I talked my brother out of back surgery last year and he's doing OK considering. He's 71. So we are older and years of arthritis.

There are PRP injections and Prolozone injections you can look into down the road...but if your surgery is pretty new, you have a lot of healing to do. I deal with arthritis in my neck and take a lot of supplements for OA.
