Feeling sick after abscessed tooth removed?

So to begin, the tooth started as a root canal about 10 years ago, was supposed to get a crown on it but my father couldn't afford it so it stayed with just a filling, last year filling fell out(yes I know should have taken care of it but I couldn't afford it) so it's been sitting for a year without a filling, I've tried to keep it as clean as possible. But it abscessed. Of course. So said forget it and got it removed 2 days ago since it was killing me, come to find out it was going into my sinus. (It's a molar on my top left). A couple days before my nose was actually bleeding when I blew it. But now, tooth is gone I'm on amoxicillin, and I feel very nauseous. I'm not on any pain killers and I've been eating as much soup as my stomach allows. I was wondering if this is normal for the situation? My sinuses have been draining and I've been coughing a lot(taking a decongestant as dentist told me to) I don't ever get sick. So I'm miserable right now.

Ps the gums where the tooth removed aren't hurting much at all and seem to be healing up nicely. The dentist did say the abscess was about the size of a marble.
