Amazing what you can do with a little spakfiller. I wonder how he thought of that? Maybe made a mistake once and it was all onwards and upwards from there. Very clever.

Geez, all I ever did was patch a wall with that stuff! Thanks Mrs. D for sharing the wonderful and creative beauty out there.

I was thinking about this overnight for some strange reason. :o

I envisioned a frieze high up near the architrave such as in Roman or Greek classical architecture style, except of course it would be in spakfilla rather than marble. lol Having the right type of space to do that would be the problem, but I can see it in a lovely conservatory-like space with plants etc.. It could maybe be glazed somehow to make it appear like marble. It would have to be done very well though or would look very tacky is the problem. Oh well, back to real life. ;)

My attempts to patch holes used to be as lumpy as his mountains:D. I love the choice of tools - a dessert spoon!

My daughters are collaborating to decorate here, I expect great things after seeing this - I have just forwarded it to my youngest.

Great stuff! i used to sculpt - draw more these days ... so would be great to get into it again! this has given me an great idea ! thanks for sharing!
