Antibiotics

I've had gut problems ever since I could remember, but my memory mostly extends to my early 20s. I can't recall how it went in my teens and childhood. If it's at the root of all that's happening to me now, including the SFN, which seems to have an autoimmune etiology, it's important to know.

Well, today I found out another piece of the puzzle, a very early one: due to a physical abnormality, I had numerous ear infections as a child and to treat it I was given regular one week or so courses of antibiotics, Erythromycin I think. So in my case the destruction of my microbiom began early. I don't know much about this particular antibiotic, but regular courses could not have been good. Although I did eat lots of yogurt growing up, so that must have been helpful.
