questions about applying-finances, working

going to the doctor tomorrow for another follow up appointment. diagnosed with parkinsons last june at 42 years of age. i am still working, but my abilities and performance have dropped substantially that the higher ups have noticed i am not what i was. now they are wanting a doctor to say that i am still able to do the job, and am waiting for my neurologist to fill out the form they sent with my job requirements.

i work about six hours a day right now. i am worn out after about four on most days, and struggle through the last two. my right arm goes pretty much stiff and sore. my right leg stiffens up in the thigh and it gets harder to walk. sitting makes it worse. my face starts to feel as if it droops on the right side, my jaw shakes to the point where people think i am cold. the drugs make me throw up.

my biggest issue is that i cannot afford to quit and wait until the disability process goes through. i dont have any assets, no vehicles in my name. no savings, they have been exhausted in making up for what i am no longer making at work.

another issue is how do i approach the doctor about the form to fill out saying whether i can do the job or not. if he says i can do the job then i suspect that would hurt the disability claim. if he says i cannot, or need certain adjustments to be able to do it than i am not sure about that. cant find the words that make more sense.

sorry if it is long winded, cant get the words out like i want so i get that way. thats another thing that i have found. kind of like the old batman episodes where batman talks everything out. i am somewhere between there and dory the fish from "finding nemo."

thanks,
ron
