We change clocks forward one hour Saturday night

We skip ahead one hour this weekend.

The L.A. Times discusses the change:

So that means we lose an hour of dreamy weekend slumber when clocks are set to jump forward an hour early
Sunday morning. And that can be problematic for many.

It is thought that we save money by using Daylight Savings Time:

Studies done in the 1970s by the U.S. Department of Transportation show that we trim the entire country’s
electricity usage by about 1% EACH DAY with Daylight Saving Time.

When I was younger I had a hard time with daylight's savings… showing up and hour late, or an hour early. I have no concept of time or space. It doesn't matter now that I'm not working.

Bizi,

I think most people do.
I changed the clocks in the house and most of the watches tonight:
microwave, stove, wall clocks in living room and kitchen, two alarm clocks.
I admit to being a lit bit obseessive about clocks -- ties into the sleep issue.

In the morning I will do the car clock. It seems to help that I do the change
a day early.

It is easy for the kids these days because they pay attention only to the time on their phone.
