Barium and sfn

Hello,

With all my investigations, I had barium swallow test 3 times.
Can barium cause SFN?
I am so sorry about all the things I allowed to be put into my body.

TIA.

As far as I can see (searching PubMed for "barium" and "neuropathy") barium is not a known risk factor.

barium sulfate, is designed to coat your intestines, and detect abnormalities during an x-ray, it is not, barium sulfate is a heavy metal, but in the salt form its relatively safe, and its not readily soluble in "water" or body fluids, your most likely will excrete in your wastes. its only a concern if metals form ions, and is absorbed.
