Does this look like Chiari 0?
4 Attachment(s)
I just got a set of brain/ cervical spine MRIs done. The radiologist report says the cerebellar tonsils are a bit low, but there's no herniation. I experience headaches, dizziness and feeling like someone's squeezing my brainstem when I'm standing up. I also have severe Central Sleep Apnea. Does it look like I should pursue the Chiari angle, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

With the central apnea, I would pursue it.
We are days away from a sleep study to check our 9yo for apnea or another try at catching nocturnal seizures. If it's central apnea, we will check for chiari as that is a less likely but still possible complication. All the imaging past few years do not show that part of the brain. |
