Here I go again - Self Acupuncture

Ok I've had professional acupuncture over many years and it does help..BUT one has to do it often. Not once a week etc..but even daily as the more one does it the more results. I started Self Acupuncture yesterday. Talking to other folks in the US and UK who do their own I decided to go for it. Bought needles with the help of another person's directions and the ones I got are good. Yesterday I worked for 30 minutes, today over 45 minutes... Primarily on my knee, leg and foot.

I have so many areas to work on including a NUMB thigh from femoral nerve damage due to hip replacement. Maybe later today I'll put some needles in my numb thigh. I've told my story here.

There are many books, videos, instructions etc. and if a person has had professional acupuncture, they have a head start for needle placement.

It does not hurt, didn't me anyway. Needles are fine and go in easy and easy to remove. Takes time and will/motivation to do this self work. I have the time and the will. Here is a good link to read up on acu and neuropathy. They even mention home work.

As my gf said the other day "you are the only one I know who does self acupuncture"....and yes I'm open to TRY just about everything holistically.
