The day arrived

My daughter moved out & back to TN. She ended up engaged to her derelict boyfriend & moved in with him. Emotions are difficult in this situation because of a variety of factors however, I am doing my best to be supportive.

Now that it is only me...I have been re-organizing to suit my limitations. Of course, the original plan was for my daughter to have helped with that before she left. This way is better for both of us on the emotional aspect but has been a bit of a physical struggle.

Last night was one of the few times I have been able to 'see' the CRPS. I posted this pic on Facebook...funny the comments - 'oh no! What happened???'
Have to laugh

I used to have a lot more of the "visual" stuff early on with my RSD...now if I can see it that usually means I am in the midst of a horrible flare up. I always have a slightly reddish tinge now though...like I have a light sunburn over most of my body where the RSD is...but it's harder to see than the flare up color changes.

I hope your reorganization goes well and it makes things easier for you. I know that we have arranged things here in our house so that it's easier for me and that actually makes a huge difference day to day. Sorry that your daughter isn't there to help but things happen and you guys are doing what is best in the long run for you both.

Take care and keep us posted on how you are doing.

Thanks catra! The move was definitely for the best, I just had hoped more would have gotten accomplished before she left.
When she went to Reno for 2 weeks last month, I re-organized the pantry & the laundry room, as well as fixed a few things that were supposed to have made my 'flare room' more comfortable. I need to do some furniture relocating in there now that the weather is nice enough for open windows.
So far since she has left, I have re-organized all my kitchen cabinets, both freezers & the fridge. Taking tomorrow to clean my room/bathroom & put my clean clothes away. Mom is coming Monday to vacuum & take me to the grocery store. We will probably start re-arranging the furniture in the den too. Then I start upstairs...lol. Trying to do one room at a time, however long each room takes.
Once my car is put back together, I'm going to try to get a VERY part-time sit down job...see how that goes.
