What season is usually the worst for you?

Hey guys,

I am in the beginning of my second year with CRPS and had anticipated that winter would be my worst season, but I find myself having more symptoms lately and remember that my worst flare also occurred in the Spring last year.

What season do you all usually find to be your worst season?

Hugs for everyone! :grouphug:

Hi,

My pain increases during winter and again in spring/summer. It takes a couple weeks to get used to hot humid summers and air conditioning. I dress in layers year round to try to manage symptoms and take break through pain meds as needed.

I hope your pain will decrease soon. Hang in there. I know every increase in pain can temporarily derail us. I hope your pain will decrease when your body acclaments to these changes.

I also experience terrible "pain flashes" where I start sweating profusely and turn a bright red in face and and upper body, when my body reacts to temperature changes. This can also happen for no apparent reason also.

God bless,
Rain

I have a hard time anytime there is a big shift in weather...so usually the period as seasons transition. Winter and summer are strange seasons for me in that I do better in the warmer weather of summer...but some places have the air conditioning so high that it puts me into a bad flare up. Winter...the weather outside is difficult for me but inside it's always toasty warm so I am more comfortable once I am inside a place. Spring and fall tend to have more weather changes...which is rough...but then again the temps inside and outside tend to be more even keel so that's better in that sense.
