tiny black lines under nails

For about a month, I've been getting these tiny black little lines under my nails. They're only about a mm long and not thick. It's like someone drew under my nail with a thin point Sharpee. Does anyone else get them? I have two right now. I noticed two diferent ones on different nails a couple of weeks ago. Is this something I should see my doctor about, or is it no big deal ? Thank you.

could be splinter hemorrhages. This can be a sign of bacterial endocarditis. But other things can cause them too.

Thanks. Just did some reading. Looks like autoimmune stuff can cause it as well.
