We All Have Cancer Cells In our Body - Reminder

I've thought of this issue for a long time and counting on my healthy Immune System to keep me healthy in this area. Thanks also to Grape Seed Extract, before this Pycnogenol.

Sugars are not our friends, keeping our bodies MORE alkaline is important, overall this info is a very good bunch of reminders.

In my view the link above makes some sensible points.

However, there are many points in it which I disagree with and/or are not supported by evidence.

Some examples:

"Cancer feeds on mucus."
I know of no evidence to support this claim.

"Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment."
I know of no evidence to support this claim. Body pH is controlled, through well-understood physiology, within narrow limits. Food intake has a negligible effect on this.

"Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering."
This is factually incorrect.

"Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment."
This is factually incorrect. Cancer cells, like all body cells, need oxygen. Sometimes solid tumours do not grow quickly because they have an inadequate oxygen supply. They often respond to this by producing growth factors which lead to increased blood supply, as a source of the oxygen which they need. Trying to work out how to prevent this is the basis of development of some novel chemotherapeutic drugs.

I have done some investigation of the link in the first post in this thread.

It reflects a hoax e-mail which has being doing the rounds for some time.

Johns Hopkins University, which is a respected research and teaching organisation, has explicitly denied responsibility for it; Pancreatic Cancer News.

NT members will note that the content of the hoax e-mail is essentially identical to that of the first link in this thread.

Thought I'd add this here, looks like very good info on Breast Cancer and solutions. Talking to a personal friend who is going the chemo route and another health friend who happens to be a health forum "owner" and now dealing with BC and she is currently doing the higher dosing of iodine. She's asking for help and support from the members.

Sugars really need to be so reduced for so many reasons.

Sulfur and fighting cancers. I mentioned above about the friend who is battling her cancer holistically and she's getting a lot of help and support from everyone. This Sulfur article is good to share, I'm glad that since I take MSM (sulfur) for years now I have more of a fighting chance against the "C". I take MSM primarily for pain reduction and it does so much more.

Cancer, Sulfur, Garlic & Glutathione

If we can get it ENOUGH from foods, that is great, but I don't buy that for me anyway.
