Has Anyone Been on the Macrobiotic Diet Before?
Hi Everyone,
I am trying to give this ago, I never eat meat anyway. I have heard with soy products you have a increased risk of breast Cancer. That's what I was told from some ladies fighting breast cancer. But I love lima beans and rice. I believe Madonna uses this diet. Much Love, Roz xxx |
Diet
Hi,
If you have RSD please be careful. We need B vitamins and vegetarians often need to supplement them. Get help from a registered dietician rather than go it alone please. Pam |
When I was vegan (semester time) I always have more energy and better concentration than when I go back to veggie at home. Don't know if that helps!! Are you still on the juicy diet? I imagine that would be great because it's all raw vegetables etc just pureed up! (and very very yummy).
Sorry I can't be of more help, but let me know how it goes!! Love ya Froggsy xxxxx |
I know that I feel better when I am eating more veggies too, Rosie. I feel that I have more energy and life in me. :heartthrob:

Hi Pam,
I drink Ultra Shake drinks(Vegen formula) it's full of Vitamins, Minerals and Protein. I do take liquid Vitamin B's as well. I do eat fish and chicken once in a great while, but not very often. Much Love, Roz Howdy Froggsy, I've been juicing carrots some. I've been eating soups. I probally do not get enough of the healthy grains though. Someone bought me this bread called Ezekiel is supposed to be healthy, but it tastes like cardboard. Thanks so much for the encouragement. Much Love, Roz xxx Hey IHH, You have such a wise head on young shoulders. Both you and Rosie juse amaze me. I am just learning about nutrition at 48 years old, can you imagine that one. Much Love, Roz |
Hey Roz...
How are you? Well, I guess with nutrition - I have had this 5 years and it took me until this year to work out that if I ate better then I did feel better. (Before I would use things like chocolate to get through the adrenaline/ exhaustion crisis, but it just made the sudden increases and drops far too exhausting - I think RSD must have an affect on internal blood chemistry and the functioning of hormones such as insulin.. The shakes sound great - I make a lot of vegan soup and you can easily add loads of seed into them, or eat porridge type things - I have started eating millet (I think that's what it is called) which is a sort of porridge flour that tastes and looks similar to mash potato which I have with soup sometimes). Love ya and best of luck - want to exchange some recipies? LOL (I love cooking/ supervising cooking/ looking at cook books) Froggsy xxxxxxxxxxx PS - have you found a live in? |

Hi,

Hi Buds,
I cannot type much at one time so here I go again. The last year I have been trying to learn some of this nutrition stuff. A few months ago I went to Mexico to a clinic to build my immune system up. I have gone before as well. I met several wonderful people from around the globe, doing everything they could to live. This was mostly a Cancer clinic. Some people go their with autoimmune diseases and healthy people go to remain that way. They use Laetrile which is Vitamin B-17 which for some reason is illegal in the States, For Cancer patients they use several different unconventional therapies which Hoxsey being one of them. Several different types of IV Vitamins etc...as well. They put them on a special diet as with no soy products, processed foods, no vinegar allowed as well. I might be leaving a couple things out. I think tomatoes and peppers are out as well. I think this type of diet sounds great for me. But what I am going to do is this. Only sweetner product is Splenda or honey that has not been cooked. 100% Olive oil only. Lot's of Love, Roz |
