Checking In, Any Hope in Medical News?

Hello,

Posted a while ago about my PN, over-sensitization, constant localized sweating.. Maybe a year now. Still dealing with it, possibly my new normal, however challenging that may be. Been seeing my neuro on and off. When I ask whats going on w/my body he just says "its complicated, but he's hopeful." I have a history of spinal issues: cervical stenosis, cervical laminoplasty, entire thoracic fused to correct scheurmann's kyphosis, multiple sports injuries resulting in bulging/herniated discs, hoffman & babinksi reflex, mechanical allodynia, possible crps (surgeon threw it out there, neuro denies). My body doesn't seem to know what to do with me! Taking 600mg gabapentin 3x/day. Effexor for nerve/depression issues.

So what's the news in terms of treatment? Any hope? Any breakthroughs? If I damaged my central nervous system via stenosis, spinal cord injuries, and multiple traumas, the chances of healing are pretty slim, or is that incorrect? If anyone knows of any clinical trials in central Texas, let me know!

Hope you're all staying strong and dealing the best you can. Grateful to have this forum!:Head-Spin:
