Ubiquitin phosphorylation in PD
 
I have wondered for a long time now if the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway and the lysosomal storage system were the pathways/systems interrupted/impaired in PD. Impairment of either of these systems lead to mitochondrial dysfunction.
