Hello everyone :)
My name is michelle but I prefer chellie :) I am new here after deciding to take my medical care into my own hands I was looking for some people with experience and more knowledge on the matter. I have been doing some research online. I have been diagnosed with 1 tarlov cyst now ive been told it has no significance, except I believe this isn't the case as I have crippling pain in my back, legs and pelvis. at first I thought this was due to 2 bad pregnancies with spd but now I fear its the cyst. My doctors are clueless and I'm being passed from one clinic to another. Also does anybody know of a consultant who is very knowledge able on this matter that's based in the UK. regards sending loves and hugs chellie |
Hello chellie: Welcome to NeuroTalk! I'm still pretty new here too. I don't have any information I can share with regard to your concerns. But I just wanted to say hello. I hope you find the time you spend here to be of benefit. :Grin-Nod:

Hi Chellie,
Welcome to NeuroTalk! I'm sorry you're having difficulty with finding a knowledgeable and helpful doctor where you are living. There is a Tarlov Cyst Forum If you repost there, perhaps someone with the same condition and living in the same area can offer some advice. If you read some of the older posts you may also come across information that could be of help to you. There is a search function you could try. http://www.neurotalk.org/search.php All the best to you. I hope you find some helpful information. |
