In Perscpective, seeking, glum

I am kind of glum today. I just feel like I am losing my mind and am dizzy all the time, sharp head pain, like I am gonna pass out, like the old me is draining out of me. I get upset and mad and then I forget why I am mad.

I thought about what others said on here about several concussions and I added up head shots I took. No wonder this accident took me out. I had a lot from skating I forgot about and then I was in a domestic violence situation and there were many head shots, I am sad to say. Then I feel out of a tree when I was 7 and could not make it to the door (passed out) and then a variety of hits here and there.

Sheesh. I REALLY think it is working with something else, like maybe all the chemicals or genetics, because my brother had more serious hits than me and he is OK. And my mom, too. What is up with that??

Try CBD oil, nutritional ketosis and intermittent fasting. Perhaps look up typical progesterone and brain trauma.

Also, consider being checked for binocular vision issues by a vision specialist (convergence insufficiency, etc).

The clinical trials using progesterone immediately after head trauma was stopped because of the many cases where it cause worse outcomes. progesterone sounded promising but it is not.

But, hormonal imbalance can cause a magnification of symptoms so a full hormone panel by a neuro-endocrinologist can be worthwhile.

Thanks for the heads up Mark.

What are your thoughts on fasting and ketosis? I feel intermittent fasting has helped my symptoms dramatically.

The comments on fasting to cause ketosis are mixed. Some say it takes a whole day or two of fasting to just start to get to ketosis. There are some risks with fasting to ketosis. I forget what they are off-hand but I did post them a month or so ago. Maybe a search will find the thread.

Some believe the improvements from fasting have more to do with foods that are eliminated than achieving ketosis.

Interesting. Here are some resources to consider.
