"zoning-out"

hi,

i find that my ability to concentrate is getting much worse. i kind of just zone-out (stare blankly, 'til things turn fuzzy/abstract).
it's incredibly taxing to read just three, four words (and re-read these words) of a sentence that i just have to give up entirely ...
it's as if my brain needs a pair of bi-focals, if you get me.
i feel a certain tingly, almost sedative comfort in this state. . . but i know this isn't a good sign. it's getting so hard to zone-in and concentrate. very hazy feeling. i'm zoned-out as i'm typing this.

i recently put myself on a regimen of b-50 complex, extra b12 (methyl. 1000 mcg's), fish oil (triglyceride form. 1500 mg EPA/750 mg DHA. 1000 IU D3), curcumin (longvida), etc.

i notice : a bit more energy & general less pain in my body (i also have an autoimmune disease). has done nothing for me in terms of psychiatric problems or concentration, yet. only 2 weeks in.

anyone else get this feeling of "zoning-out" or a difficulty in "zoning-IN" (i feel my default state now is a zoned-out/foggy brained one).

thanks.

I have these zoning out days from time to time.

My first concern would be the quality of your sleep. That is usually my problem when I have a zone out day.

Dumb bell,

Get your eyes checked. I was doing the same thing reading, going over and over some words and couldn't stay on the correct line easily at times. My left eye was wandering around independent of my right eye which was looking where I intended. When it became to much I would let everything get fuzzy to take a break.

I knew this was happening but had no idea it was my eyes

Since therapy my eyes are working together much better now and I don't reread things, unless I chose to.

Bud
