talk at dentist office about her depression & GENES
I have been with my dentist for 8 years.
We are comfortable together. I saw her to talk about a bite guard. We ended up talking politics and then about her depression and what she wanted to share about her MTHFR gene mutation. 1. https://mthfrgenehealth.com/bipolar-disorder-mthfr/ My understanding is the that MTHFR gene mutation/s cause the body not to process folic acid (B vitamins) and thus could affect bipolar. This would mean that it affects families ( I believe.) 2. most multivitamins include folate at the recommended level of 400mcg.
some even have 800mcg, just looked, mine has 800mcgs. bizi I am glad that you have a good relationship with your dentist! |
I went to the dentist last week, and had a good visit. No cavities!!!:yahoo: BF:hug::hug::hug:

A friend on another forum has this gene mutation. Thank you for the info… different from what I've read in the past, and very interesting.
