Hi (((Tena))) and thank you for the invitation. I particularly liked the very end of it. ;)

My only sibling, my younger sister, died from metastatic breast cancer when she just turned 34. That was Dec. 15, 1986. I remember after her mastectomy the doctor told us that everything was fine, she didn't need chemotherapy, and she had just as great a chance at living a full life as we did.

Her cancer metastisized in the next year and we spent a long, hard year watching her fight it and dying.

I'm anxious to see Michael Moore's film And, you have my vote.

I'm sorry for all the problems you are having and have had, and...you have a beautiful son!

Your life has been touched by pain as well

I viewed it more than once, I really loved your art work in it.

And yes, you have a beautiful son.

What a great thing to have done!!!!!
(I meant the film, but then it did seem like that was appropriate to be said of your son, as well.)

What a beautiful bride... (((((((Tena)))))))))

Tena, that was very good. It is so sad for one to lose there parents to cancer. I lost my father to lung in 1972(and yes I was a daddy's girl). Then in 1996 lost my mother also to cancer. I still miss them deeply, even if it has been a long time ago.

You do have a gooding son.

Again thanks for sharing with us.

Darlene

I love that you took the pain and made art out of it, as well as a message.

Though in real life, I'm not sure national healthcare is going to be good... It will mean that people, like cattle, will be worth something to those who want to profit on their illness... and profiteers abound. Sadly.
