Whenever I get sick, my symptoms get much much worse.

Seems to be pretty normal. Had a flu, too, took me over 4 months to get at least close to former state. Also had trembling and muscle pain, is that the same for you? It usually goes away at least quicker than after initial concussion.
All the best.

wow.. very weird.. what could be going on? seems odd that a viral illness would cause concussion symptoms right?

Any illness is a stressor to the brain. That stress can cause a return of symptoms.
