Prayers for Americans

This presidential election has been so stressful and divisive.
I have never seen anything like it.
A presidential election bringing forth such fear just feels so abnormal.
(I have never seen such tears and sadness from an election).

I am asking for prayers to soothe all Americans and bring them together, and may the powers that be,
in Washington, understand what has happened, and they dial back the ugliness.
May our fears be assuaged.

Love, Diandra

I feel it too. :(

Just today a neighbor ran up to me and started ranting about the election. I didn't even say a word.

Every time that I visit the US the Americans (from many walks of life) who I meet have all been good, honest and caring people.

I hope that the views of all of those good folk will prevail in the difficult times which may lie ahead.

As someone who doesn't currently live in the US, but spent long periods there in the 80's & 90's, it's been unbelievable to view what's been going on. Just the amount of TV coverage down here in little old NZ gave the indication that this election was going to be different. (All 3 debates were broadcast live here on free-to-air and the media commentary has been non-stop).

I watched the results come through with a feeling of sadness for all of you here on NT who live there. I'm hoping that whatever changes this new government brings into action that your individual lives are not negatively impacted - particularly in the area of access to healthcare.

You're in my thoughts and I hope for all of America's sake that sanity prevails and things calm down soon.
