Hi Steve - Help me understand - You had the DBS hardware installed
a year ago, but the equipment was activated on the 18th? In my case,
I think activation was 5 weeks post-surgery.

The excellent surgeon who did my surgery has had 2 patients of the 500 or so he's done who had the surgery but never required the system to be turned on. Apparently, the surgery did what ablation surgery did and stopped the symptoms. Eventually, the symptoms return.
